These imploring words of Jesus during the Sermon on the Mount, remind me of the actions of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, giving her life to care for the poorest of the poor. The story has been told that upon seeing Mother Teresa holding a sick and dying child, a gentleman looked at the small, old nun and said something like “I don’t know what God she believes in, but whoever he is, I want to believe in him also.”
Let us give glory to God through our actions of love for each other.
